創會成功

欣悉香港理工大學北加州員生會創會成功，李啟宇先生獲選為首屆會長，深慶得人。今訂於二零零六年十月二十二日假東灣東海海鮮酒家舉行就職典禮，承蒙香港理工大學校長潘宗光教授專程蒞臨主禮，為大會增光，為歷史時刻作見證。際此良宵，群賢畢至，少長咸集，金門灣畔，燈火樓台，份外嬌姸，此乃三藩市灣區華人社區之盛事也。

香港理工大學乃香港著名學府，學術精英匯聚之地，人才輩出，造福社群，其越洋來美發展事業之員生，定可繼往開來，為北加州華人社區之聯誼、文化、教育、福利等公益事業作出貢獻，可喜可賀！

It made interesting reading and I was also delighted to find Dr Ng Shui Hing, also from the class of 1975 as me, was featured in the book!
