     The Overseas Alumni Association of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Northern California) belongs to all CUHK alumni.  Your participation and support are welcome.  We established as OAACUHK in August, 1981, and was incorporated as a non-profit organization of California in 1982.  It does not charge membership fee, but welcomes your donation and contribution to our OAACUHK.
     Our alma mater is acknowledged locally, nationally and internationally as a first-class comprehensive research university.   It consists of four constituent colleges, Chung Chi College (founded in 1951), New Asia College (founded in 1949), United College (founded in 1956), and Shaw College (founded in 1986).  As of March 2003, it has seven faculties -- Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Social Science.  It has 61 academic departments, and 54 graduate divisions.  It offers 53 majors, 37 minors, and 2 part-time undergraduate programs.  Its postgraduate programs consist of 61 doctorates, 123 master's and 10 diploma programs.  CUHK total enrollment is 15,508.
