Purpose of this survey
-- It would be nice if alumni from different cities can meet together once a year or every
other year.
We may choose one or more themes for discussion at such a convention and document the
result of our discussion.
After the alumni convention, we can join a local tour together, entertain ourselves and
talk about the old days at
CUHK campus. This would be a memorable moment and joyful day in one's life.
The following survey form is to solicit
your opinion about the feasibility of organizing this kind of convention, or anything else
that comes to mind. We welcome
all of your comments and suggestions.

Greeting from the Overseas Alumni Association of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Several CUHK alumni associations have been firmly established in large metropolitan areas in North America. We can communicate through the Internet, email or telephone conversation, but nothing like meeting face-to-face in a conference or touring as a group. In our last board meeting, we passed a resolution to contact various alumni associations of the Chinese University of Hong Kong to see if it is feasible to start a CUHK alumni convention. It could be an annual, bi-annual or tri-annual event. Please place this suggestion as an agenda in your next board meeting. We have organized an initial working group (committee) to design a survey form to solicit the opinion of our overseas alumni. This committee presently consists of Tony Kwock (chair), John Lowe, Ivy Jou, Dr. Thomas Fung and Dr. Sun Leung. We wish to extend this committee to include some alumni from your locality. A sample survey form is posted on our website, www.oaa-cuhk.org. Please encourage the alumni in your area to express their opinions freely.The convention can be held in a metropolitan city in North America on a rotational basis. If we are going to the hold this convention in San Francisco, then we have an example of a convention program shown below. Hopefully, you can create a draft of your convention program in your area. Then we can exchange ideas. Your prompt response will be greatly appreciated.
