Purpose of this survey
-- It would be nice if alumni from different cities can meet together once a year or every
other year.
We may choose one or more themes for discussion at such a convention and document the
result of our discussion.
After the alumni convention, we can join a local tour together, entertain ourselves and
talk about the old days at
CUHK campus. This would be a memorable moment and joyful day in one's life.
The following survey form is to solicit
your opinion about the feasibility of organizing this kind of convention, or anything else
that comes to mind. We welcome
all of your comments and suggestions.

香港中文大學海外校友年會
－－郭堂 香港中文大學海外校友早巳經在海外各大城市組織校友會。聯絡本地的校友的活動也做得很好。 可是各大城市的中文大學校友會之間並沒有聯絡。假如我們要聯絡也只有利用電話﹐電郵﹐郵件﹐或國際網路來聯絡。可是這些都比不上有一個年會及 旅行團我們可以面對面談天說地好。 香港中文大學海外校友會董事會議決先組織一個小組去做一個調查報告﹐看看有多少人喜歡參加年會及旅行團。然後決定怎樣去做。同時﹐我們也請各地的校友會在當地做同樣的調查報告。總合大家的意見﹐然後決定是否可以在2005年夏天舉行第一次香港中文大學海外校友年會及在年會後即刻組織一個旅行團到附近觀光。這個年會籌備小組現由郭堂校友負責﹐組員現有馮英傑﹐梁新﹐羅書璋﹐及李潔儀等。有興趣參加的本地或外埠的校友﹐請與我們聯絡。 我們設計了一張調查表刊登於我們的網址www.oaa-cuhk.org。請上網發表你的意見。你亦可郵寄或電郵webmaster@oaa-cuhk.org下列問題的答案給我們﹕(1) 你喜歡與外埠香港中文大學校友聯絡嗎﹖(2) 香港中文大學海外校友年會最適宜於六月中舉行當孩子們正在放假﹐是嗎﹖(3) 若果香港中文大學海外校友年會在本埠開﹐你參加年會的機率有幾個百份點呢﹖(4) 若果香港中文大學海外校友年會在外埠開﹐你參加年會的機率又有幾個百份點呢﹖ 若校友們決定由香港中文大學海外校友會在三藩市舉辦第一次香港中文大學海外校友年會。我們可以用下面的提議作一個例子﹕For example: OAACUHK proposes the following convention program.Date: First week of June, 2005; when children are out of school.Place : San Francisco, CaliforniaConvention program : -- Registration and Orientation Meeting at New Asia Restaurant at 11:00 a.m. Shopping and free time at 2:00 p.m.. A brief tour of Union Square and San Francisco Shopping Center. Meeting for exchanging ideas and selecting next year's convention date and place. Dinner and Dancing Party at New Asia Restaurant, Pacific Avenue, San Francisco at 5:00 p.m. Next three days and two nights are for scenic tour -- San Francisco Bay Area, Hearst Castle, and Yosemite National Park (The tour number of Lassen Tour and Travel, Inc is OS-3B). You may obtain tour cost and itinerary from Lassen Tour and Travel, Inc.Registration Fee: $75.00 per person (subject to change), lunch and dinner dance included.
